Apple Keyboard Works With Windows 10
Note: Both of Apple's wireless keyboards are configurable to work with Windows 10, but require slightly different steps toward the end. You'll then need to turn on Bluetooth on your Windows 10. Windows: If you use multiple OSes or just prefer using an Apple keyboard you'll know that many keys such as print screen, volume control, and eject do not work in Windows. However I am using a wired USB Mac aluminum keyboard with a PC, a straight up windows 10 PC that is NOT a Mac. The keyboard plus in and works for everything EXCEPT the F keys will only work if I hold Fn+Fkey. If this were a mac with windows I would go to boot camp and switch the F keys to not require the Fn key.
I recently bought a new Magic keyboard with numeric pad but cannot get it to work properly on bootcamp.
I reinstalled the drivers, updated osx, pair and unpaired the keyboard, and called technical support, but none seemed to have helped.
The magic keyboard without a numeric pad works well but when I unpaired it, the tab on bootcamp control panel for keyboards disappeared, so I'm assuming the error has something to do with bootcamp not registering the device as an apple keyboard.
Any suggestions on how to get it to work?
