The Magic Keyboard is the current computer keyboard produced by Apple Inc. It was released alongside the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2 in October 2015. An extended layout version called the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad was released in June 2017. It is the successor to the Apple Wireless Keyboard.
I recently bought a new Magic keyboard with numeric pad but cannot get it to work properly on bootcamp.
I reinstalled the drivers, updated osx, pair and unpaired the keyboard, and called technical support, but none seemed to have helped.
The Good The Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad has light, bouncy keys that are great to type with. The new number pad makes it easier to input figures or work with some creative software. The magic keyboard without a numeric pad works well but when I unpaired it, the tab on bootcamp control panel for keyboards disappeared, so I'm assuming the error has something to do with bootcamp not registering the device as an apple keyboard.
Any suggestions on how to get it to work?
