Apple System Update 10 7
Apple System Update 10 7
Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7) is the eighth major release of Mac OS X (now named macOS), Apple's desktop and server operating system for Macintosh computers. A preview of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion was publicly shown at the 'Back to the Mac' Apple Special Event on October 20, 2010. If you want to use all the features of iCloud, you need to be at least on OS X 10.7 Lion or Mountain Lion. In order to install either of those operating systems, you have to buy OS X 10.6 which is available from the online Apple store, which in the US is at 800-MY-APPLE for $19.99. Once you install it, use Software Update to bring it to OS X 10. When Apple revealed iOS 13 last year, it announced the update would work with the iPhone 6S, iPhone SE (2016) and newer models. This year is the same - Apple isn't excluding the iPhone 6S or its. Apple today released iOS and iPadOS 14.1, the first major updates to the iOS and iPadOS 14 operating system updates that were released in September. IOS and iPadOS 14.1 come a week after Apple.

What's New in iOS 10.0.2:
The update includes fixes for several minor bugs, including an annoying problem that was causing the Lightning headphone controls to be disabled after a period of inactivity.
The glitch seemed to happen randomly and could only be fixed by unplugging and re-plugging them. Reports started to emerge just days after the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus officially went on sale and to Apple’s credit the fix didn’t take too long at all.
The update also solves a problem that caused the Photos app to crash when enabling iCloud Photo Library and a problem that prevented app extensions from being enabled.

There's no such OS X release as 10.7.8 (current Lion release is 10.7.5).
Once you install it, use Software Update to bring it to OS X 10.6.8.
Apple Update 13.5
Once there, if you want Lion, you'll need to call the online Apple store again to buy a download code. Or they may still have the more expensive USB sticks with Lion on it. In order to use Lion or Mountain Lion, you'll need at least 2GB of memory, and many have found they need 4GB of memory for performance. Lion also requires that you have a Core 2 Duo system (click the apple on the menu bar and about this mac to see what you have).
With your system at 10.6.8, if your system meets Mountain Lion requirements, you can download it directly from the App store.
