A review of Apple’s 2017 MacBook Pro 13-inch (no Touch Bar) from a software developers perspective.
My first MacBook was the gorgeous, then-new MacBook White unibody (2009), which I traded in for a faster but heavier MacBook Pro (2011), which I traded in for that nimble workhorse, the mighty MacBook Air (2013). In 2018 I upgraded to a tricked out 13″ MacBook Pro, with much better specs. If you’re wondering if the 13″ MacBook Pro is a good machine to do programming work on this is the review video for you. I do most of my software development work in Python on macOS and in this video I’m giving you a full review of the new 2017 MacBook Pro with a 13″ screen and without TouchBar.
